What is Ayushman Bharat Scheme?
To provide better health facilities to the poor and middle class of the country, the Modi government at the center has started the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Through this scheme, the government provides free health insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh to crores of people.
Any cardholder registered under this scheme can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in a government or private hospital. Poor, laborers, tribal (SC / ST) homeless, destitute, a person seeking charity or alms can take advantage of this scheme. To register yourself in the scheme, visit its official website pmjay.gov.in.
Know the benefits of the Ayushman card
- As per the scheme, health insurance of Rs 5 lakh is provided to an economically weak city every year.

The age limit of any family member has not been fixed in the insurance to be done under the Ayushman card.

If any person had or had a pre-existing disease, that too will be covered under this.

Fifty crore people in the country will get the benefit of an Ayushman card
